Ete Harriman Ayida

Ete Harriman Ayida B.Sc. M.A is the founder of African Child Development Initiative. She has a long standing interest in children’s education as a mother of two. Whilst living in Washington, DC, she spent time volunteering with disadvantaged adults at the Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington and also volunteered her creative skills to her children’s school. On returning to Nigeria in 2006, with her background in Anthropology, she was able to translate her passion for photography and non-profit work into ACDI; whose vision is to light the creative and intellectual spark in children of diverse backgrounds through non-traditional learning experiences.

 

Chief Hope Harriman

Chief Hope Harriman was born in Warri, in the Niger Delta. He is a philanthropist and alumni of Government College, Ibadan. He is a Chartered surveyor by profession, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Nigerian Institution of Management. He attended Christ College, Cambridge 1955-1958. He sits on the board of numerous companies such as NDCC, NBTC, Evans Medical Plc in his illustrious career as an industrialist.

 

Abi Ayida

He is the Managing Partner of Vail Woodward Associates, a firm of Business Development Consultants. They provide Advisory and Consulting services to State Governments and Private Companies.
He was Regional Director for Safe Blood International Foundation, responsible for project leadership for United States Government funded projects in Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Democratic Repulic of Congo. Mr. Ayida attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA where he was awarded a B.A Economics. Further education was at Pennsylvania State University for his M.A in Economics. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Berger Paints Nigeria PLC.

 

Aisha Rimi

Aisha Rimi, an alumna of Queens College, Lagos, Aisha is a Senior Vice President/Managing Director of GWI Nigerian office of a Washington DC based International consulting firm. Ms. Rimi received her Law degree and Masters in International Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham, in England. She has a professional background in corporate/commercial Law with 10 years professional experience as a Senior Associate/Partner with Ajumogobia & Okeke a leading Lagos, Nigeria based general corporate law practice. Before joining GWI in 2002, Ms. Rimi spent a year at the New York law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP, as a Visiting Attorney, in the Corporate/Project Finance groups.

 

Ama Annan-Adedeji

Mrs. Annan-Adedeji is a Certified Financial Analyst and a graduate of the London School of Economics and the New York Institute of Finance. Her 15 year career has spanned Financial Advisory services with Baring Securities to International Development Assistance with the United Nations Development Program.  She is currently the Managing Director of Mid Ocean Shipping Company.
